Designers keep ownership of their own artwork, and we take copyright reports seriously. Here is how it works.
Your responsibility as a designer
- Only upload artwork you created or clearly have the right to use.
- AI generated designs still have to respect other people's brands, characters and logos.
- Do not publish shirts using team names, logos, celebrities or characters you are not licensed for.
Reporting an infringement
Email teemakerzteam@gmail.com with the subject line "Copyright report" and include:
- A description of the work you own.
- A link to the shirt listing or design on TeeMakerz.
- Your contact details.
- A statement that you believe in good faith the use is not authorised, and that the information is accurate and you are the owner or authorised to act for them.
What we do
- We review the report and normally remove or unpublish the listing while we look into it.
- We tell the designer what was removed and why.
- Repeat infringers lose their account.
- Listings removed for infringement are not refunded, including the publishing pack used.
Counter notice
If your listing was removed and you believe that was a mistake, reply to us with an explanation and any proof of your rights or licence. If it checks out we restore the listing.
